The 25th international tourism exhibition “Travel Expo Cyprus 2024”, organised by the Association of Cyprus Travel and Tourism Agents (ACTTA) and the Display Art Plc group of companies, was successfully held from 19-21 April. The exhibition was jointly inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Tourism Mr. Costas Koumis Kostas Koumis II and the Ambassador of Greece Mr. Ioannis Papameletiou.
Ιt was a very important event, not only for the public seeking detailed information about new destinations, but for the entire tourism structure, as it provides a first-class opportunity for tourism businesses, tourism organizations and local government bodies to promote their tourism product.
One of the star products of Cyprus cuisine is olive oil, in which interest has grown in recent years to become one of the most experiential attractions of Cyprus. Oleotourism represents a lifestyle that combines culture, nature and gastronomy. Oleotourism is one of the best ways to get to know oil’s new culture and in that sense, Elina Christofidou, Officer at the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, invited me to present an Olive oil Tasting of some of the finest Cyprus olive oils from local producers to the public and get them a taste of Olive Oil Tasting Experience!
